2.2 Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, our hosting and security providers may automatically collect limited technical information necessary to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse, such as:

• Browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps

This information is processed by Amazon Web Services (CloudFront, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB) in the course of serving the Site and operating the contact form.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies

The Site itself does not set first-party tracking cookies. However, embedded third-party services may set cookies in your browser:

• Google reCAPTCHA — used on our contact form to prevent spam and automated abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information (e.g. device, browser, IP address) and send it to Google for analysis. Its use is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which may receive your IP address as part of standard HTTP requests.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes, each grounded in a legitimate legal basis under the PDPL:

• To respond to enquiries — when you submit the contact form or email us, we use your contact details and the content of your message to answer your question, prepare a proposal, or follow up about your project.
• To provide and improve our services — analysing aggregate usage patterns to improve the Site's content and performance.
• To protect the Site — detecting and preventing fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents (including via reCAPTCHA).
• To comply with legal obligations — meeting record-keeping, tax, and regulatory requirements in Bahrain and any other applicable jurisdiction.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share personal data only as needed and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

• Service providers — Amazon Web Services hosts the Site and the contact-form backend in the United States (us-east-1 region). Google operates reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts.
• Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers, or auditors, where required.
• Regulators and authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

Because our infrastructure is hosted in the United States, your personal data may be transferred outside Bahrain. We take reasonable steps to ensure these transfers are protected by adequate safeguards, including the contractual and technical protections offered by AWS.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, AWS-managed encryption at rest, least-privilege access controls, and reCAPTCHA-based abuse protection. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to maintain industry-standard safeguards.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and maintain a reasonable business record — typically up to three (3) years from your last interaction with us — unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. tax records). After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under the PDPL and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Withdraw any consent you have previously given
• Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority of Bahrain

8. Children's Privacy
